Welcome to OCAS

Since 1923, our friendly, volunteer-run allotment site covers around 12 acres (4.83 hectares) in the heart of Cambridge.

We have 300 members with people from all walks of life whom enjoy gardening here.

OCAS Rules

To help keep our site welcoming, safe and enjoyable for everyone, please adhere to our rules.

Please maintain regular upkeep of your plot.

Please do not use harmfull pesticides on our site.

The site speed limit is 5 km/h. Our roads are unsurfaced and expensive to repair.

Please leave the toilet clean and tidy for the next person.

The water troughs are open from spring until the first frost. Please use water wisely.

Dogs are allowed on leads.

Please do not enter another person’s plot unless you have been invited.

Please adhere to our composting guide.
